The country lies in the southern end of the eastern border of the Caribbean Sea, it is simply known as Saint Vincent.
Their main source of economy is agriculture but the country is trying to develop its tourism sector. The recent filming of the Pirates of the Caribbean has helped to market and show the countries’ beauty.
I must say that Saint Vincent is truly a place to visit and explore as the country has a lot to offer in terms vacation and tourists spots.
Here are some of the most awesome places in Saint Vincent:

Bequia

On the top of the list is Bequia. It is a green and hilly S-shaped outpost of the Grenadines, and is surrounded by steep verdant hills and yachts. Bequia is near the market area making it accessible to fresh produce. Bequia’s glorious beach was really phenomenal, while the golden sand surrounded by the cedar and almond trees was just remarkable. Water activities are also available in case you are looking for some adventure.

La Soufrière

This one is challenging adventure but totally worth it when you reach the top, as La Soufrière truly offers a breath taking view. It is considered as one of the top world class hikes and will give you a top of the world euphoria. From Rabacca, which is the most popular hiking route, it will take 2 hours steady uphill climb to the craters edge. It is really a stamina challenge but worth the climb. You will pass through some rainforest, montane thicket ad cloud forest so you will never get bored along the way.

Botanic Gardens St. Vincent

Botanic Gardens St. Vincent is very serene, peaceful, lush, green and a home to the vast collection of tropical plants, flowers, trees and birds. If you love nature or want to do a nature tripping, then this is the best place to visit. The garden serves as a breeding place for the medicinal plants to be provided for the military and improve the life and economy of the colony.

Canouan

Canouan is located at the heart of Grenaldies and is pronounced as KA-NO-WAN. It is a home to one of the most beautiful beach in the country namely the Tamarind beach, wherein it has hidden coves and a long line of white sand beach.

The Emerald Beach

The Emerald Beach is a dream place, wherein the area is surrounded by splendid sea and uncontaminated nature. A romantic, secluded, long beach is waiting for you to enjoy and spend your vacation. The place offers some relaxing spa. Whether you prefer to just lie on the beach or have a drink of some cool beverages, you will definitely have an experience that is beyond your imagination.

Tobago Cays

Tobago Cays is a marine park that serves as a home to some of the heavenly lagoons full of green turtles, coral reefs, a school of colorful fishes and crystal clear waters. A dream place for scuba divers and people who love to explore the underwater world. Other water adventures that they offer includes turtle watching, driving and snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing, and kite surfing. The beach has a powder white sand, clear blue seas, palm trees swaying in the breeze.

Mayreau

Mayreau is Caribbean’s great escape that keeps a secret treasure of peace and tranquility. They offer a vast selection of water activities like driving and snorkeling, where you can see a different world down below the waters. Mayreau locals also offer sailing for those who are fan of riding the yachts. For others who are seeking for a different kind of adventure, hiking is also being offered where you can see the magnificent view of Mayreau from the top.

Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary

Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary has made a big difference in terms of turtle survival. It was founded and being looked after by Brother “Orton” King. He knew how endangered the turtles were that’s why he started this sanctuary where it protects and conserves the life of the turtles.

National Trust

The National Trust is home to tons of tourist spots like the Mount Stewart (a neo classical house and a celebrated garden), the Overbeck’s (a hidden paradise of subtropical garden) and the Wasdale (a home to the towering mountains and the deepest lake in England). You can also spot some cherry blossoms, daffodils, new born lambs and some nesting birds around the area. National Trust is a serene and relaxing place for you and your family.

Macaroni Beach

Macaroni Beach sounds like a delicious meal, but it is really a home to magnificent white sand beach with turquoise water. The island is ideal for snorkeling and diving enthusiast. It is a perfect place to relax, bathe in the sun or just have some lazy strolls along the shore.
